Virat Kohli met Virat Kohli
Team India took a 2–0 lead over the hosts for the third and final T20I on Tuesday at the Sydney Cricket Ground with Australia.
Said to bat first, opener Matthew Wade took responsibility for the Australian innings, scoring the top with 80 (53). Glenn Maxwell, who has returned to his old ways, playing an easy inning of 54 (36), piled the hosts to a total score of 186/5 in the scheduled 20 overs.
The Australian team batted with a dropped catch by the Indian team, but perhaps the highlight of the game came during the seventh over when Wade and Steve Smith were out in the middle. It was around the time that an Indian team fan was cheered for his team by a Hodge-eyed cameraman.
While it is a no-brainer that Indian fans flock to any corner of the world in numbers to catch cricket action, fans in the picture are equally bored for our captain Virat Kohli. The fan also sported a beard similar to that of the Indian captain. The cameraman immediately put Ozzy Kohli on the field, making the incident even livelier.
Upon noticing Kohli’s doppelganger, cricket fans on Twitter were equipped with memes and amusing responses.
Earlier this year Coronavirus Lockdown, Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Aamir spotted a certain Kohli-making cameo in the Turkish TV series Dirilles: Arturrule.
The actor of the show, Kavit Otin Gunner, had a strong affection for Kohli, Aamir believed.
Needless to say that fans from both sides of the border shared the same enthusiasm as Aamir.
